I was performing the role of Recruitment Executive under the Managing Director of CDF, Ms Yasmine Bharucha where I started as a trainee and was promoted to Executive in 4 months.
Recruitment Trainee – April 2007- July 2007
Key Responsibilities: -
•Performed administrative support services for the Hiring managers in preparing materials and correspondence with all the companies hiring mangers and recording the file documents.
•Assist the hiring managers in identifying and screening the candidates from various job portals as per the clients’ specification.
•Coordinate activities with recruiters, campus teams .
•Perform general clerical work like filing, scheduling appointments and meetings of managers and processing incoming, outgoing, bulk mail.
Recruitment Consultant - July ‘07- June ‘08.
•Supervised a team of 3-5 trainee recruiters and train them on daily basis.
•Identified, recruited, screened, interviewed and successfully onboard the industry’s top talent for a variety of positions including management level positions.
• Responsible for Banking, Insurance sector and Investment Advisory recruitments.
• Prepare job advertisements, web postings, in accordance to organizations’ recruitment standards.
•Source candidates from portals, reference and through head hunting.
•Pitch new companies for client’s requirements.
•Do extensive Research and development on companies.
•Conduct preliminary assessment of suitable candidates and sourcing selected candidates for interviews.
•Regular follow up with selected candidates in order to reduce the attrition rates, thereby replacements, and employment satisfaction.
•Database management and periodic reporting on the status of recruitment.
•Timely reporting on the status of HR activities.
As a recruitment executive I was awarded best recruiter to write job advertisements on job portals and decreasing retention rate through post placement care of candidates and regular follow up with clients.
