15 hours a week; worked as a counter girl who took orders, made salads, answered the phone, and managed opening and closing tasks. 

Extra Curricular Activities 

  • High School Cheerleading: Participated at the varsity level for all four years of high school. Cheered on the sidelines of every varsity football and basketball game. Competed in several local and statewide competitions throughout the season. 2 hour practices, 4 times a week.
  • All-star Cheerleading: Participated in cheerleading outside of school with Cheer Extreme All-Stars. Competing nationwide and worldwide; Achieved various national champion titles as well as bronze and silver medal and the Cheerleading Worlds. Participated from years 2006-2014. 3 hour practices, 4 times a week. 
  • Young life: Out of school club where members got together twice a week and learned about our faith and grew closer to each other. Attended summer camps as well as a few during the school year. Participated all 4 years of high school. 
  • DECA: Business related club through school where members would compete at business related events state-wide and nation-wide. Participated all 4 years of high school. 

Honors & Awards

  • All-State Cheerleading award: Selected among hundreds of cheerleaders in the state to join the All-State cheerleading team.
  • SWAC cheerleader of the year: Selected among my cheerleading team to compete against other cheerleaders in the SWAC to win the title of cheerleader of the year. 
  • Cheerleading Captain: Voted by my teammates to be the team captain my senior year of high school.
  • All- Conference Cheerleading award: Selected among hundreds of cheerleaders in the conference to receive the all-conference award and represent the county.
  • Young life Leader: Participated with other seniors at my school to teach underclassman at my school how to open up to each other in groups and grow closer to one another. 
  • AB honor roll: Received AB honor roll for the 2014-2015 school year. 

Volunteer Involvement

  • Habitat for Humanity: Building houses for those less fortunate with no profit involved, 8 hours a day until the house is finished.
  • Miracle League: Helping kids with special needs play baseball. I was a buddy to a boy named Michael and helped him participate in all of his baseball games.
  • Second Chance Adoption Center: Taking care of kittens and puppies like feeding, cleaning and walking them until they found a permanent home. 
  • Caroling for A Cause: Caroling around my neighborhood to raise money for UNC children's hospital for cancer research.
