Coloured Diggers ANZAC DAY commemorations
The Coloured Diggers group are a community collective who organize an annual march on ANZAC Day that commemorates the long-unrecognized role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander soldiers played in defending their country.
- City of Sydney's erection of $500,000 artwork in Hyde Park that commemorates Indigenous service as advocated for by the the Coloured Diggers group since 2007;
- Increased attendance at the march (30 people to 3,000 in 2015)
