Leadership for Safety Excellence Certificate

This course is designed for people who are responsible for health and safety in their organizations. This course will introduces leading edge practice in health and safety and provide ideas and practical tools to take back to the workplace.

Construction Safety Training System (2016)

Making sure that construction work sites are as safe as possible begins with providing basic safety training to all employees.

Manager of Landfill Operations (2015)

A comprehensive study of efficient landfill operations, including site design, regulations, health and safety, cost controls and other issues to consider when planning, operating, and closing landfills.

Level 3 First Aid [re-certification] (2014)

Covers the basics of airway, breathing and circulation in addition to patient assessment, splinting and minor wound care.

Supervisor Safety Training (2012)

Gaining the key elements of occupational health and safety from a supervisor’s perspective including hazard identification and risk assessment, presentation and communication skills, worksite safety inspections, due diligence as well as incident/accident investigation among others.

Lockout Training (2012)

requires the adoption and implementation of practices and procedures to shut down equipment, isolate it from its energy source(s), and prevent the release of potentially hazardous energy while maintenance and servicing activities are being performed.

Safety training for possible exposure to hydrogen sulfide.

Class 1 Driver Training and Air Brakes Certificate (1989)

The license to operate all types of road vehicles, as well as a combination of trucks.  Long-term experience in vehicles ranging from Super B-Trains, tandem dump trucks, and 70 passenger buses.
