Married with a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. My interests include music, coaching and playing netball,  fitness and being with my whanau.

Personal Statement and Teaching Philosophy

My passion for coaching netball led me to teacher training where I have been challenged and truly realised my passion for education.  I believe I have a significant role to play, helping students develop and aspire to reach their potential, with a particular empathy for Maori Learners. I plan and implement with student agency, ensuring students are interested, a meaningful and relevant programme to engage learners, inspire learning and raise achievement. I am enthusiastic about cultural needs, pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
