Travel Trade Manager

Visit Huntington Beach
  • Solicit connections in the International and Domestic travel industry markets
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of Visit California efforts and opportunities
  • Continual research, compilation, and presentation of information on various tiered markets within the Travel Industry
  • Manage all arrangements and escort Tour Operators, Travel Agents, and Receptive Operators on Site Inspections and familiarization trips to Huntington Beach
  • Organize and attend trade shows, receptions, and sales missions for the travel trade market, including management of additional Visit Huntington Beach staff in attendance
  • Manage three separate international agencies, keeping them updated on Huntington Beach news, maintaining stock of printed and digital collateral, creating, reviewing and analyzing quarterly plans, as well as an annual plan

Film Commissioner

2010 - Present
Visit Huntington Beach
  • Market Huntington Beach to the Entertainment Industry as a viable place to film
  • Work with the Huntington Beach Visitors Bureau (Visit Huntington Beach) to increase opportunities for Film Tourism
  • Strong knowledge of the budgetary requirements for productions, and helping filmmakers maintain their budgets while shooting within Huntington Beach
  • Run multiple familiarization tours annually for members of the Film Industry in order to showcase unique and film friendly locations throughout Huntington Beach
  • Manage a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week hotline for Filmmakers in need of immediate assistance
  • Act as liaison between the film crew, the filming location, and the City of Huntington Beach 
  • Maintain Film Commission Website ( and Social Media accounts – including photo galleries and sections promoting local businesses
  • Attend industry events such as the AFCI Locations Trade Show, the CA Film Commission annual breakfast, and speaking at various Union meetings and Film classes at surrounding colleges
  • Work with business and homeowners to increase the number of available filming locations 

Sports Commissioner

  • Work to increase Sports Tourism within the City of Huntington Beach
  • Attend industry trade shows in order to meet with as many Sports Event Owners as possible and educate them about Huntington Beach via individual appointments
  • Pursue new events to bring to the City, in order to bring about a positive economic impact
  • Maintain the Sports Commission website ( and social media accounts

General Manager

KBeach Radio
  • Maintain knowledge in technical aspects of Radio. Fix problems and train staff on how to use station equipment. 
  • Maintain relationships with all members of staff, keeping them on topic and productive as well as holding them to the standards of integrity required in over the air conduct.
  • Maintain positive relationships with organizations both on and outside of campus in order to increase promotion to the station.
  • Run regular meetings with all members of the station, including staff and DJ’s, so that everyone is kept up to date with vital information
