  • Guiding the Team in acquiring Experienced Professionals (EPs) through various channels like TCS Career portal, Commercial Job Sites, Employee Referral program, Direct Mailers, Advertisements in various media, Placement Partners, Tata Transfers (Employees getting transferred to TCS from other Tata Group Companies)

Sourcing & Staffing

  • Interacting with the projects to understand the requirements and formulate action plans to meet the requirements.
  • Reviewing and validating the Targets defined by Corporate SPOC alongside Practice SPOC and RMG.
  • Screening and scheduling candidates through various Jobsites, TCS ePortal and Consultants.
  • Coordinating and driving Weekend recruitment drives and calling for outstation drives based on business requirement and skill availability.
  • Interacting and understanding the expectations of the candidates and co coordinating with them throughout the span of offer till joining. Providing feedback and assisting them regarding any query.
  • Providing feedback and timely dashboard updates to the stakeholders. Reviewing the requirements and action plans on a fortnightly basis against the demands.

Arranging and enabling Interview Skill workshops for tech and MR panels on a quarterly basis to make them aware of changes in policies and procedures.

 

Induction of New joiners ( Experienced professionals EPs )

  • Ensure the successful completion of the Pre-employment Medical check for the EPs and initiation of Background check with interim Positive report at the time of joining the company
  • Completion of joining formalities – A pre-defined list of documents needs to be collected and verified as per the terms and conditions discussed at the time for Offers letter issuance to the candidates.
  • Conducting Induction program for new joiners (EPs) – To familiarize them with the organization and its culture, policies and processes. Orientation given through presentations /films on various departments. It’s a 2 day full time program designed in consultations with various department heads/leads of the respective region.
  • Providing confirmation to the support team for creating Employee numbers after verification of data against recruitment back papers.

Creation of Employee Personal file - Original recruitment papers, pre-employment medical certificate, joining kit and supporting documents are compiled for each new joiner.

Campus Talent Acquisition

  • To prepare a recruitment plan to visit the accredited institutions ( Technical / Management )
  • To coordinate with the Campus placement Office for pre-placement activities and the placement visit slot
  • Nomination and identification of interview panellists as per guidelines
  • Interaction and coordination with the campus placement Officer for placement visit slot and selection process
  • Receiving applications and short-listing for candidates as per eligibility criteria
  • Administration of aptitude test and interview process
  • Issuing offer letters to selected candidates

Off – Campus ( Direct Trainee ) Talent Acquisition

  • Preparing a talent acquisition plan to source Direct Trainees within the given time frame, based on targets.
  • Preparation of a Calendar for direct trainees (monthly/quarterly) recruitment
  • Nomination and Identification of interview panelists as per guidelines laid down
  • Receiving applications and short-listing candidates as per TCS eligibility criteria
  • Monitoring the logistics for travel and accommodation of the entire Campus crew members and leading them
  • Administration of aptitude test and interview process
