Summary

I am a social, outgoing, hard-working individual who enjoys bringing joy to those around me. I turned 20 in the beginning of August and I am currently taking classes at Cuyamaca Community College (where I played basketball last year) where I am pursuing my Associates Degree before transferring to a four year university where I will work to get a degree in human biology.

I have played basketball throughout my life, including three years on varsity at Valhalla High School. During my junior and senior seasons I was chosen by my coaches and teammates to be captain. I have always had excellent leadership skills and enjoy being looked to for guidance. During my time at Valhalla I helped take our basketball team to it's first ever CIF championship game and state playoff berth, won a senior award for best sense of humor, finished in the 90th percentile on my SAT, received the Coach's Award, Hustle Award, and Most Valuable Player, and was selected to play in the East County, East vs. South, and San Diego County All-Star Games. I have also been through CPR and AED certification classes through the Red Cross because I was chosen to represent the sport of basketball through Valhalla's Future Athlete Leaders program during my sophomore year. I appreciate the leadership opportunities that basketball has provided for me and look forward to using those skills throughout my life.

Basketball Coach

Saber Basketball League

I coached the Christian Middle School 6th grade basketball team. I was responsible for teaching the kids basic basketball mechanics, as well as different defenses, offenses, and other concepts. I strove to be a great example for them as a person as well as someone they enjoy being around.
