Technical Manager

CHrist church at grove farm

As technical manager, I serve the congregation, staff and outside groups by providing quality customer service and technical support. On Sundays, I function as a service director, leading volunteers in support of the worship teams and pastors leading our services. During the rest of the week, I assist in the planning of the services, maintain the various systems that we use in classrooms and worship spaces, design stage sets and lighting, prepare audio for web posting, and whatever else falls into my lap. In my" free time", I get to dream of new ways the Gospel and tinker with our existing equipment to get the most of it. Occasionally, I get to write and produce special moments for our services and when necessary, serve as an emcee for one of our services, leading prayer and announcements. Additionally, for the past year I have produced a half-hour radio program for the local Christian talk radio station, repackaging sermons for broadcast. Currently, I am in the process of turning this into a podcast.

Freelancer

Bed Bath and Beyond; Quantum Theatre.

Freelance/Retail - For a time, I was between church jobs. During that time I worked as a freelance stage manager, did various production jobs with some awesome friends at North Bridge church, served as a production manager/tech director for a theater company and worked in the receiving department of Bed Bath & Beyond, sorting and stocking so many k-cups.

Production Manager

Orchard Hill Church

— Production Manager I started off as the stage manager here, slid over to the lighting designer chair after training my replacement on the stage, and served as Drama Team Lead-directing, writing, and acting in topical skits. I also took over Special Event management, serving as a liaison for outside groups ranging from small groups to national touring acts. I also had the pleasure of producing a mid-week service, and serving as the in-house back-up to our audio engineer and Sunday morning producer. During my time here, I was blessed to serve as stage manager on several occasions with the Willow Creek Association for various conferences in Germany.
