I started working in the Marketing Department of Renewal By Anderson Of Central Pennsylvania. I placed cold calls and warm calls. I first initiated conversation and from there I found a need from the prospect. From there I would find hot buttons and touch on them. I would pull interest out of them and find out what it was that they were least happy about with there windows or doors in their homes. From there, I would build a solid re-pore with them and set an appointment for our one of our window, door consultants to come out to their home. I had a 30-35% set rate and the sales associates had an average of about 40% closing rate which is excellent considering each sale averages 8K.
I worked in the marketing department of Renewal By Anderson for 3 of the years I worked for them. I eventually got promoted or shall I say gained interest in making more money and took on the task of learning to close the deals as an official Renewal By Anderson sales Rep! I greatly enjoyed my job and training I must say was not easy but I mastered it through a lot of strong will and lots of diligence.
I traveled quite a bit to each candidates home and I closed 70K in my first week doing the In-Home consulting.
