Sales Associate

I interact with customers and cater to their specific needs. I am also in charge of a certain department in the store, I keep my section organized in a way to attract shoppers to certain items. I'm often in charge of displays (putting together new outfits for manikins throughout the store to display our new items, or items we still have several of and need to get off the shelf). It is always important during the work shift to maintain a good balance of task completion and customers necessities.

OTHER EXPERIENCES Leader In Training Program(Logan County Public Library)

Feb 2006 - Jul 2012

Logan County Public Library

I was a member of the Leader in Training Program during a portion of middle school and all the way through my high school years. Through this program our team of 20 was in charge of planning after school programs for children ages from 3 to 10 years old. During the school year we would host an after school program every Friday with an overall life value theme, we would read multiple books to the children and participate in a planned craft that correlated with the value. During the summer we hosted the Summer Reading Program, three times a week we would have a different event for the children of the community. Some programs included guest speakers from the Zoo, or having a college theater class come and perform for the children, or we would simple have a water balloon fight; anything to get the kids engaged and having a good time!
