  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the CDA website. Duties include uploading all newsletters, job postings, upcoming member meetings, creating and sending out emails for upcoming meetings and managing RSVP lists.
  • Managed the CDA memberships, renewals, and dues. Created and sent out member emails, member meetings, and newsletters via Constant Contact.

  • Gained first hand experience with motivational interviewing by attending a Molly Kellogg workshop with Annette to improve upon these skills.

  • Head coach for the fall season supervising 15 third through fifth grade girls in a youth development program that teaches life skills through interactive lesson plans and running games. The ultimate goal is to instill confidence by training them to complete a 5k race at the end of the season.
  • Responsibilities included preparing, organizing and supervising weekly lessons, leading the participants through these lessons serving as a role model and mentor to these girls. Coaching the participants on proper stretching, running form, hydration and sports nutrition.
  • Communicated with parents of the participants weekly to inform them of the lessons for the upcoming week and update them on their daughter’s progress and coordinated with them in regards to the end of the season party and 5 K race.
