M3 Lab of Nanjing University

I have been doing experiment in M3 Lab for three years, during which time I learned some basic experiment skills of molecular biology and a little bit of bioinformatics as well. I am on a project to find out an alert of micro RNA level in mice's endothelial cells when high insulin level in blood is induced is induced and reveal the pathways then.

As an exchange student, I take part in the research working on mechanism of angiogenesis after treating traumatic brain injury to zebrafishes. I am studying experiment technology of zebrafish and also skills to give presentations.

iGEM Competition

Nanjing-China Team

I have attended a competition named the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition, which is a worldwide synthetic biology competition. Our team aimed to construct a system to perform tasks like amplifying expression and quantitatively detection and we have won a silver medal in the final. To learn more, please check our website.

I was in charge of our wiki and posters and worked out all the design drawings of our projects. I also took part in the iGEM seminar held by National Chiao Tung University on behave of our team and contributed to some of the lab work.
