I am a full time senior at Anacortes High school. I have taken several classes in marketing and advanced marketing, as well as digital design and web design. My strengths are in english, choir, science, and business related classes. I have worked several jobs in Skagit Valley as a part time employee since I was 14. I am going to college next year in pursuit of a business degree in international business or foreign policies.

Volunteer Activities 

RUSTIC PATHWAYS 

Rustic Pathways is a teen travel company and gap year program. They help connect teens to community service opportunities world wide. In the summer of 2014 I completed 15 hours of community service in Fiji, 2015 I spent a month in Mongolia completing 90 hours community service in local schools and farms. After Mongolia, I flew to Thailand and Laos where I completed over a 100 hours of community service through labor, in my month long stay.  


LIVING WAY GOSPEL MISSIONS

In 2012 and again in 2015 I traveled to the Philippines with my church. In the Philippines I worked in local barrios (the slums) with children, teaching stories and serving meals. 


ANACORTES FAMILY CENTER

I have had the honor of working through Karen Yost at the AFC. I have volunteered with the children staying at AFC, I tutor, babysit, and hangout with the children at the center.

FBLA is  club that helps encourage students with the interest in business careers or math heavy careers. I have qualified for state 3 years in a row, in addition to moving on to nationals in 2015. As a senior I have had the opportunity to be the Vice President

Community Involvement

I've been involved in our local festivals by picking up trash and answering questions.


PARKS AND REC COACHING

Through the years I have been involved in coaching pee wee sports.

For the past 4 years I have walked with the choir in local parades.
