I have worked for Akkim in a diverse range of roles for over 27 years. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Site Manager in Yanbu/Saudi Arabia Chlorine Plant, Internal Project, Investment and Maintenance Unit Manager, Mechanical Maintenance Unit Manager

• In charge of all aspects of Maintenance Management, Safe Operation and Quality Assurance, Maintenance Planning and Administration, in addition to equipment maintenance and repair
• Demonstrating strong skills in leadership, encompassing the management and motivation of teams
• Expertly overseeing all investments and projects in Organic and Inorganic chemicals, Textile Chemicals, Paper and water chemicals, construction chemicals plants as a maintenance professional, gaining valuable expertise in heat exchangers, compressors, water and steam systems, pump and piping systems and chlorine electrolysers
• Akkim Chlorine Plant CEC N-Bitac Electrolyser elements repair and refurbishment works
• Akkim Amonium Persulphate and Potasium Persulphate plant electrolysers (Both EUT electrolysers and Akkim own design elements) maintenance and refurbishment works. Sodium Persulphate plant electrolysers maintenance works. Fabrication, installation works for all type Persulphate Electrolysers.
• Also in charge of Akkim Dilovası and Akkim Osmaniye Plants maintenance works

• Successfully established a maintenance agreement with CEC/Japan for repair/refurbishment of CEC elements in Turkey, Middle East, Europe and Africa
• Managed all maintenance, repair and refurbishment of electrolyser elements for CEC customers
• Responsible for all elements of the agreement, from quotation, contract and maintenance agreement, managing maintenance works, supervising service, reporting and invoicing
  
• More than 2000 elements repair, modification, refurbishment have been completed from Solvay, Petkim, Borsodchem, P&G, Jana, Altair, CUF, Fater, JBC between 2008 and 2015 under my own responsibility. Akkim's own chlorine and persulphates elements jobs are still going on. 

• Worked as an Internal Project Investment & Maintenance Unit Manager for this new plant, offering Engineering, Procurement and Construction services
• Involved in plant operations from start to handover, including all aspects of engineering, procurement and construction of the site  

• Worked as an Internal Project Investment & Maintenance Unit Manager for this new plant, from the beginning of the project to handover
• Utilising excellent communication and relationship building skills to co-ordinate and set agreements with sub-contractors

• Focused on increasing R&D capacity and abilities projects, in addition to several projects that included R&D building construction
• Diverse duties as an Internal Project Investment & Maintenance Unit Manager included checking and preparing data sheets, bid evaluation and selection, in addition to construction and following up all site activities

• Closely adhered to all warehouse requirements and standards in regards to stock management, creating codes for new materials, as well as periodical controls

• Worked as an Internal Project Investment & Maintenance Unit Manager for this new plant, offering Engineering, Procurement and Construction services

• Focused on engineering and procurement elements of the construction of this chlorine plant

• Acted as Site Manager for 2007-2008, coordinating between companies involved (Akkim Turkey, Akkim Jordan, Akkim Saudi Arabia, Cristal) and sub-contractors, with responsibility for warehouse and financial management, in addition to purchasing, invoicing and HR. I worked in Saudi Arabia between Jan 2007-July 2008 from mobilising to Start-Up as Site Manager.
