Businessman and online entrepreneur Yuval Tal has extensive experience in the online payment and e-commerce sectors. He played key roles in the success of several Israeli organizations before setting up Payoneer, an online worldwide payment solution based in New York.
During his late teens, Yuval Tal went to Tel Aviv University in Israel in order to study mechanical engineering. Not only did he achieve a BSc, he later went on to study for an MSc in biomedical engineering, minor in business administration.
After briefly serving in the Israel Defence Forces, Yuval Tal took on a range of key roles in payment organizations RADWARE and R-U-Sure Ltd.
In 1999, Yuval Tal became the cofounder of the payment company E4X, which has since be renamed FiftyOne. The organization played a key role in allowing payments to be made across borders and successfully changed the way online commerce operated. During Tal’s time at the company he saw a great deal of success and contributed to E4X’s $500 million revenue during five years.
Yuval Tal later went on to found his own company, international payment solution, Payoneer. Payoneer allows organizations all over the globe to make quick, easy and efficient payments to their partners and suppliers worldwide, without worrying about the issues usually faced with checks and transferring to foreign bank accounts. The organization provides these clients with prepaid Mastercard® cards, which can then be sent out as payment and used like regular credit cards. Payoneer has headquarters in New York and a research and development office in Israel, but works with partners all over the globe in a range of industries, such as affiliate, freelancing and travel.
Yuval Tal is also a keen photography, motorbike enthusiast and family man.
