Add your LinkedIn information to your VisualCV

Anyone who views your VisualCV can contact you or share a VisualCV with you. However, if they also want to connect to you on LinkedIn, you can simply add your LinkedIn information to your VisualCV. With a click of a button, they can visit your profile at LinkedIn and make a connection.

Follow these steps to add a LinkedIn button to your VisualCV.

Click "Edit My Profile"

Your LinkedIn profile page is displayed.

Click "Edit Public Profile Settings"

Your Public Profile settings are displayed.

Note the URL for your public profile and click the link for customized buttons

The Promote Your Profile page is displayed.

Right-click on the image you would like to use and save it to your desktop.

The image is saved.

Select the VisualCV you want to update from the list of VisualCVs at top of your dashboard.

Edit your VisualCV by clicking the Edit link.

Add a Portfolio section to the main column or sidebar of your VisualCV

A new Portfolio section is added to your VisualCV.

Click the Add a Portfolio Item button.

The new section is opened for you to edit.

Click the placeholder (Choose Portfolio Item) :

A window with your Portfolio items appears.

Click the Upload tab, browse and select the image you saved, give the image a title, and press Upload:

The item is added to your Portfolio and can now be used on any of your VisualCVs. You are returned to the Portfolio tab.

Choose the portfolio item you just added by clicking on it:

The selected item appears on the right.

Click the Link Image to a Website click-through behavior:

A field appears where you can enter the URL to link to.

Enter your LinkedIn Public Profile URL in the Enter the URL field and press Add to Section:

The linked image is added to the Portfolio section
