Sharing VisualCVs / Unshare a VisualCV

You can stop sharing a VisualCV you've previously shared with another individual.

You can "unshare" a VisualCV you previously shared with another individual from either the Home page or from the Manage My Sent Shares page.

To stop sharing a VisualCV you've previously shared:

  1. Click the Home button to display your VisualCV Home page.
  2. In the Sent Shares section, select the professional, non-member, or company with whom you would like to stop sharing your VisualCV.
  3. Click Unshare.

    TIP: If you don't see the individual in this list, it may be because you initially shared your VisualCV with that person a while ago. Click Manage All for a complete list.

TIPS: Here are some things you should know about unsharing a VisualCV:

  • The person you stop sharing with will no longer be able to view your VisualCV using the link we emailed him or her previously. (If this individual is a VisualCV.com member, however, note that he or she can still view your public VisualCV on the Professionals page if your VisualCV is set to Members or Internet.)
  • Unsharing a VisualCV is "silent." That is, we don't notify the individuals with whom you've stopping sharing.
  • When you unshare a VisualCV, that share will no longer appear on any pages that show share activity (for example, the Shares Sent section on the Home page or the Sent view on the Professionals page).
