Sharing VisualCVs / Share a VisualCV

Now that you've set your VisualCV's privacy setting, start sharing!

(Oops, I skipped the part about privacy settings. Tell me more)

To share a VisualCV with a selected VisualCV.com professional or company member:

  1. On the Professionals or Companies page, locate the member you want to share with. Tell me more about these pages
  2. Click the Share Your VisualCV link beneath the professional's or company's name.
  3. Select the VisualCV you want to share with this member, type a message to the member, and click Share.

To share a VisualCV with a non-member via email:

  1. On the Home page, click the Share This VisualCV link next to the VisualCV you want to share.
  2. On the Share Your VisualCV screen, type the email address of the person with whom you want to share. Alternatively, you can add multiple addresses from an external contacts source. Tell me more about adding contacts from an external source
  3. Type a message to the person.
  4. Click Share.

    We'll send the recipient(s) an email with a link to your VisualCV.

To share your public Visual CV with the world (Internet privacy setting):

  1. On the Home page, set the privacy setting for your public VisualCV to Internet. (Note that everyone with an Internet connection now has access to your VisualCV via your member URL. Tell me the pros and cons of doing this)
  2. Send your member URL to anyone you'd like to view your VisualCV, or include the URL on your business card, in your email signature, in your social network or job board profile, or on your web site.

TIP: You can also share your VisualCV with another professional, a company, or a non-member (via email) by clicking Share this VisualCV while you are viewing the VisualCV in Preview mode.
