Research companies and share your VisualCV with them.

On the Companies page, you can search for companies within a specific industry or region, research a company, and share your VisualCV with a selected company. On your Home page, you can keep track of which VisualCVs you've shared with which companies.

To search for a company:

You can search for a specific company, for companies within a certain region, or for companies within a certain industry. Here's how:

  1. Click the Companies button to display the Companies page.
  2. To search for a company by name, type the company's name in the Enter Company Name box and then click Search.

    TIP: If you're not sure of the company's full name, you can type part of the name. For example, "Home" might find companies named The Home Store, Home and Garden, and The Homer Group.

  3. To search for companies within a specific region, click the Region tab to specify a country, state, and metro area. Or, click the Zip tab to specify a postal zip code (US or Canada) and, if desired, a distance (in miles) from that zip code. Then, click Search.
  4. To search for companies within a specific industry, select an industry from the Select Industry list in the Search For Companies section and then click Search. Or, feel free to browse the companies in one of our Featured Industries categories. (You can also specify up to five additional industry categories by clicking Add next to My Industries.)
  5. To reset the companies list to its original view, click the Clear button and then click Search.

To share a VisualCV with a company:

  1. Click the Companies button to display the Companies page.
  2. Find the company with which you want to share your VisualCV (see above if you need help with this step).
  3. Click the Share Your VisualCV link beneath the company's logo.
  4. Select the VisualCV you want to share with this company, type a message to the company representative, and click Share.

To view which companies you've shared VisualCVs with:

  1. Click the Home button to display your VisualCV Home page.
  2. In the Shares Sent section, click the Company tab.
  3. If you want to view shares you've also sent to professional members and non-members, click Manage All. Tell me more about what I'll see there
