Help! I can't remember my login name or password. How do I log in?
No problem! If you've forgotten your login name or password, just click Forgot Your Login Name? on the login screen, tell us which email address you supplied when you first joined VisualCV, and click Request Credentials. We’ll send you an email telling you which login name you chose when you signed up.
If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Your Password? on the login screen, tell us which email address you supplied when you first joined VisualCV, and click Request Credentials. We’ll send you a link to a page that will help you reset your password.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password from your VisualCV dashboard. Here's how:
- In the top right corner of any VisualCV page, click My Account.
- On the Account Settings page, click Change Password.
- In the Current Password section, type your current password.
- In the New Password section, type your new password. Then, type it again to confirm.
- Click Change My Password.
My email address has changed. Do you care?
Because your email address is linked to your VisualCV account, you'll have to tell us your new one so we can continue to contact you if necessary about your account and other important VisualCV news. Here's how:
- In the top right corner of any VisualCV page, click My Account.
- On the Account Settings page, in the Primary Email box, type your new email address.
- Click Save My Account Settings.
Also remember to update any VisualCVs that include your old address.
Can I control the emails that you send me?
Notification preferences help you control the types of email communication you receive regarding share activity from professionals and employers, as well as tips and other resources we periodically publish for getting the most out of VisualCV. Here's how to set these preferences:
- In the top right corner of any VisualCV page, click My Account.
- In the Notification Settings section of your Account Settings page, select or clear the boxes next to each notification type.
- Click Save My Account Settings.
Can I have multiple accounts using the same email address?
You can only have one account per email address. To have multiple accounts, you will need to sign up using additional email addresses.
Can I use multiple email addresses with my account?
We associate a single email address with your account. We use this primary email address to notify you of administrative changes associated with your account and other important VisualCV news. You can, however, specify a different email address in the contact section of any of your VisualCVs.
I didn't realize you use my login name in my member URL. Can I change it?
When you first joined VisualCV, we created a VisualCV web address (URL) for you that looks like this:
www.visualcv.com/LoginName
The LoginName portion of the URL comes from your VisualCV login name.
You can use this member URL on your business cards, in your email signature, or on other websites to point to your public VisualCV (if you've changed its privacy setting to "Anyone"). Tell me more about VisualCV privacy settings

How do I cancel my account?
Are you canceling because you landed a new job? If so, CONGRATULATIONS!! Would you mind ? Did you know that you can always set your VisualCV's privacy setting to "Only me" to prevent any information from being viewed by anyone but you? This way it'll be there when you're ready for your next career move. Tell me more about privacy and sharing
If you still want to cancel your account and delete all of the VisualCVs and portfolio items you have created, you can do so from the "My Account". We hope you will consider joining us again someday!
