He plays mridanga, naal and other percussion instruments from India, at the Temple, and in his free time. He also likes to play sports, workout and experiment with cooking high protein vegetarian meals. He is very adventurous and spontaneous when it comes to traveling and plans to travel to South America this year. Vishal is fluent in Gujarat, Hindi and Bengali. Vishal is from Ahmadabad, Gujarat but grew up in Dallas, TX. He has a Clinical Dietetics Degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and works in the field of Critical Care and Nephrology Nutrition. He is also a National Honorary Sigma Iota Epsilon MBA graduate from University of Dallas in the field of Marketing and Management and plans to incorporate that into a leadership role in healthcare especially in the Home Dialysis market. He has worked at UT Southwestern Hospitals and Baylor HealthCare for few years before migrating to outpatient care within the field of Nephrology. Summary

Dallas resident Vishal Bagchi currently works for both Fresenius Medical Care and Renal Ventures Management, serving clients with chronic kidney diseases in clinical and home settings. A registered and licensed dietitian, Mr. Bagchi earned his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Dietetics and Critical Care from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. In 2011, Vishal Bagchi also received his Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Management at the University of Dallas. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Bagchi participates in continuous professional development, including research and leadership training. At Fresenius Medical Care, one of the world’s largest dialysis services providers, Vishal Bagchi performs at-home, in-center, and NxStage hemodialysis treatments and develops renal nutrition plans based on patient needs. He also leads the company’s North Texas Dietitian Team; plans, coordinates, and conducts continuing education for his staff; and assists corporate headquarters in creating and editing outreach materials for Fresenius Medical Care’s website. Since joining the company’s Dallas clinic in 2007, Mr. Bagchi has helped boost its anemia management program into the top 10 percent company-wide and has identified and addressed multiple errors in pre-state survey audits. Employed at Renal Ventures Management in the Home Kidney Care division since 2010, Mr. Bagchi helps create protocols for calcimimetic use in the company’s home dialysis program and leads the effort to meet new Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. Along with his professional commitments, Vishal Bagchi chairs the Dallas chapter of the Council of Renal Nutrition, part of the National Kidney Foundation. He participates in the Dallas Dietetic Association and the Medical Reserve Corps of Dallas County. In addition, Mr. Bagchi is a member of the Network of Indian Professionals and serves as Chairman of his local chapter’s Community Service Committee. He is also the Director of Community Relations for the National Association of Asian American Professionals in Dallas-Fort Worth
