Miami Country Day School is a K-12 college preparatory school that provides a comprehensive education that focuses on teaching the whole child, using technology, integrated and student centered learning processes.

• Band and orchestra students scored superior and excellent ratings at solos and ensemble festivals.
• The middle school orchestra was the first to attend the Florida Orchestra Association Music Performance Assessment in the school's history.

Taught band, orchestra, chorus and general music. Responsible for the guitar club, Tri-M Music Honor Society and Chamber Orchestra.

• Fund raised and acquired significant donations to buy the majority of the school instruments that the school owns.
• Created the schools orchestra, band, chorus guitar, club, Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter, and chamber orchestra.
• Had students fund raise money to participate in a Disney Workshop in Orlando, Florida.

Fund raised and wrote several grants to purchase music and buy musical instruments. Orchestra students were taken on field trips to visit New Orleans, Louisiana, and Atlanta, Georgia. At an orchestra competition in Atlanta they received second place in their division.

K-12 public school system

Taught orchestra at six different elementary, middle and high schools in the Tampa bay area as a traveling teacher. Fund raised and received several grants to purchase music and musical instruments. The Wharton High School Orchestra visited Atlanta, Georgia and performed at an orchestra competition. Students were involved in the Florida Orchestra Association Solos and Ensemble Festival as well as Music Performance Assessment.

String Orchestra Specialist

Taught at sixteen different elementary and middle schools in the Birmingham metropolitan area. Served as a private and group teacher with classes taught in cello, viola, violin, trumpet and trombone. Students performed in several school and regional music events.

Orchestra Director

Students performed at many local and regional orchestra events. Students were invited to perform at the Georgia State University Invitational Orchestra Festival and performed at an orchestra festival in Panama City, Florida.

Graduate Assistant

Graduate Assistant to the Orchestra Director. Served as the Assistant Director of the South Georgia String Project's elementary and middle and high school orchestras. Taught at two different elementary and middle schools in the Valdosta metropolitan area. Students participated in many local and regional events.
