About VisualCV

VisualCV allows professionals to create an online professional profile that replaces the traditional resume.  Available to both professionals and companies, VisualCV revolutionizes how these groups share and organize career information.  Your information is completely private and you control access to your VisualCVs.  Top companies around the country are currently signing up to start receiving VisualCVs in lieu of the traditional Word resume.  Companies are also creating VisualCVs to exhibit and share information regarding their culture, job opportunities, career potential and more.

VisualCVs, for professionals, can serve different purposes when sharing with friends, colleagues, clients, prospects, the Internet, and Recruiters or Companies.  Based on your preferences, each version features a unique collection of portfolio items, plus exclusive privacy settings based on your preferences.

Professionals have the option to share a unique URL as a "live" Internet document that includes portfolio items such as work history and samples, salary information, awards, references, certifications, videos/photos and more.  VisualCVs also include informative pop-ups, hovering over companies, universities and keywords – eliminating research for you and your reader.  Sharing a VisualCV makes every meeting more effective and every relationship a better fit.

Registration for professionals and companies is easy and free. Get started today!

About Tim

Tim is VisualCV’s lead Graphic Designer and Producer and is responsible for our corporate “look and  feel”, application interface enhancements, and ensuring quality and consistency in marketing communications. A veteran “Silicon Valley East” (DC metro area) designer, Tim brings more than 25 years of art direction, creative services, design and production experience to the VisualCV team. Tim came to VisualCV from an amazing seven-years in Corporate Marketing and Product Development at webMethods (now SoftwareAG). He strives for a tasteful yet usable balance of what he calls “eye-candy and pixie dust.”

Family, friends and colleagues consider Tim a “renaissance man” of many passions. But when his love of automobiles and design converge – magic happens. He has designed several custom automobiles for other builders; builds and races his own specialty cars; developed a highly effective marketing communications system for a major motorsports business and marketed his original limited edition automotive art prints.

Another of Tim’s many passions is music. He recently designed the CD cover, concert poster and website for singer-songwriter Mary Ann Redmond’s latest release “Send the Moon”. He is also a proud supporter and member of the Music Advisory Board for WPER 89.9FM (www.positivehits.org), a local contemporary Christian radio station.
