BREATHE.COMVP Programmes - responsible for Project ManagementandIT Operations, Support & Applications Development leading an extensive team of IT professionals (permanent and contract).Transformed the organisation from an emergent dot-com start-up to a recognised force in the mobile Internet market with its dynamic range of lifestyle based products and services. (2000 - 2001)

HALIFAX PLCHead of eCommerce – defined the Group’s eCommerce marketing and distribution strategy.Launched award-winning multi-channel applications and installations.Developed and launched Halifax Online in Internet, Sky TV and O2 (BT Cellnet). Product Marketing Manager – Interest rate setting, product design and marketing for the Group’s Savings & Investments product range. (1988 - 2000)

  • Placing a strong and pragmatic emphasis on innovation, Tim is currently engaged in extending the use of social technologies across a number ofoverlapping communities, from education via financial services through to music,digital,arts and media. Sustainability is an underlying theme throughout Tim's activities and interests.
  • In addition to currently leading a major Innovation Programme for global systems integrator Steria Tim has headed up eCommerce for HBOS, lead Programmes for breathe.com, created Outsourcing Solutions for Experian, delivered Comms for Factory Records, and been Marketing Director for the not-for-profit DSDM Consortium.

  • Tim writes for TheNextWeb, Get:AmbITion and other Arts and Tech websites and contributes to the UK’s booming Social Media scene, participating in Social Media Cafes and Surgeries in the drive towards Digital Inclusion.

  • He is a Pension Fund Trustee, a guest lecturer at Cranfield University, Manchester Business School and Liverpool Institute for The Performing Arts and in 2009 created AgileCamp, the UK’s first ever Unconference event for Agile technologies.
