Thomas Trantum has spent much of his career on Wall Street, researching investments and market behaviors. Mr. Trantum received a Presidential appointment for his outstanding work in financial analysis, sales and marketing, and communication. Thomas Trantum has been heavily involved with investment banking at the executive level, and as a CEO, Thomas Trantum raised public equity, supervised security analysts, and implemented successful money management strategies. Thomas Trantum understands that in today’s tough monetary and investment atmosphere, success is defined through analysis, communication, selling, and people skills. Thomas Trantum currently operates as the Co-Founder and President of Nashville, Tennessee-based Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC. Trantum Investment Management Company is a startup money management and financial services firm that caters to individual equity investors. Thomas Trantum’s responsibilities at Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC include all aspects of the company, from research to portfolio management to marketing. Thomas Trantum oversees the firm’s investment fund and individual account management areas, as well as the portfolio of individual stocks. Under Thomas Trantum’s guidance, Trantum Investment Management Company, LLC has outperformed the S&P 500 in individual stock management. Thomas Trantum earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. Earning his Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mr. Trantum went on to supplement his learning by enrolling at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he took an MBA focused on Security Analysis. In his free time, Thomas Trantum enjoys boating, golfing, reading, going to the symphony, and woodworking. Mr. Trantum currently resides in Tennessee with his wife of 40 years.
