I developed this website for a project that investigated differentiated instruction for gifted third-grade readers. Students first read a book and then interacted with the site, which offered challenging activities beyond traditional classroom instruction.
I created all of the graphics and did all of the programming except for the spinning wheel in the "novel games" section, which we found in creative commons.
I created this website for Amy Atari, mother of Sarah K, a young girl suffering from Cerebral Palsy. She wanted to create a site where she could share information about Sarah and collect donations.
I developed this logo for the iMapBook research team, which supports reading comprehension through interactive maps. A compass was a natural fit because the product helps students navigate books.
This flash-based instructional program was designed as a supplement to The Reader's Treasure (above). This program gives elementary-aged students a foundational knowledge of Tsunamis to enhance their readings of Escaping the Giant Wave (the text read for The Reader's Treasure) but can also stand alone as an instructional module.
