Manages a team of engineers and technicians in the Technical Services department that designs complex server networks; installs, configures, conducts troubleshooting, and maintains server and workstation based components of existing/new networks and associated assemblies; facilitates the successful completion of all projects executed by the department; the Technical Services department leads advanced enterprise projects and perform associated research; the department maintains and designs complex e-mail systems, Citrix farms, VMware ESX clusters and storage area networks.

Supervises a team of engineers that designs and maintains fixed and remote computer network systems; performs activities such as configuring, troubleshooting and monitoring network servers and associated hardware. Handles client/server multi-user system support including network management and network administration; performs microcomputer fault isolation and restoration actions; and provides support and training for micro and multi-user computer systems.

Worked with U.S. Central’s Systems and Security Engineering departments to evaluate and solve technical problems; produced detailed documentation on systems, processes, and software; evaluated and recommended software tools and utilities to assist engineers with system and security administration; performed server installation and configuration; installed and performed tests on server security applications.

Conducted technical training programs; determined training objectives; wrote training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests; designed laboratory exercises; lectured class on safety, installation, maintenance, and repair of computers and network equipment; administered written and practical exams; and wrote performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.

Installed, analyzed, and serviced systems and network equipment; maintained relations between the customer and the organization on all network and system engineering matters; determined and recommended the products or services that best fit the customers' needs; identified areas for product improvement or new product development; and prepared product specifications.

Installed new software releases and system upgrades; installed patches and resolved software related problems; provided technical support and training to network clients; maintained network systems; managed user accounts; implemented security procedures and policies; and conducted inventories and inspections.
