Michael Weeman

MICHAEL WEEMAN is a music industry veteran of over 15 years. Michael began his career as a club agent and promotor in the fertile Atlanta acoustic scene which has spawned genre luminaries from Indigo Girls to John Mayer. Michael graduated The University of Georgia School of Law with a focus in Intellectual Property. He spent many years as an artist manager (Foundation Artist Management/Russell Carter Artist Management), managing and/or handling day-to-day responsibilities for various artists, including platinum acts Matthew Sweet (Zoo/Volcano), Shawn Mullins (Columbia) and Fastball (Hollywood). Concurrently, Michael was contracted as an A&R consultant for MCA Records and a creative consultant for Zomba Music Publishing. Prior to founding Weeman Entertainment Group, Michael was most recently the Director of BMI's Atlanta office where he spent 5 years identifying and nurturing talented songwriters in the genres of Rock, Pop, and Urban. In addition to his duties at WEG, he is a partner in Affix Music which offers services in Urban music placement, supervision and publishing.

Cliff Sims

New to Weeman Entertainment in 2008, Cliff Sims will be assisting Michael Weeman in the day-to-day management of the producer and photographer roster. Cliff is the lead singer/songwriter for Alabama based rock band Colour Academy and also owner of Rectifier Music Group and a voting member of the Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy (GRAMMY'S).
