Commitment to Community:

Since 1990, I've been a devoted supporter and advocate for Project Self-Sufficiency (PSS) of Sussex County, New Jersey, a grassroots non-profit agency providing comprehensive services to lift impoverished, marginalized women and children out of the cycle of poverty.

 
For contributing thousands of hours of fundraising leadership and administrative support, I was honored with the agency’s “Mosaic Award” for outstanding contributions to PSS participants.

Before Executive Career Brand:

In my early career, I founded another successful entreprenuerial venture, an Organic Garden Center in Sussex County, New Jersey, specializing in growing exotic herbs and vegetable plants.

How did running a garden center prepare me to market executive job seekers? As the General Manager, I handled all the advertising and promotional efforts for the business.

Conceptualizing and writing new ad copy on a weekly basis fortified my precision writing skills. I quickly became deft at coming up with neat, compelling turns of phrases to market the unique products we were selling.
