History: Founded in 2002, AtlasAdvancement, Inc. was created by Partners Steve Laskin and Jon Bartlett with a desire to create a new type of search firm with a more effective process. During this time AtlasAdvancement has grown over 500%, filling roles from the staff level up to CAO's and COO's of multibillion dollar publicly traded firms; EVP's of Sales; and Directors in our three areas of expertise: Accounting & Finance, Technology Sales, and IT. AtlasAdvancment has an uncanny ability to locate very pinpointed searches; for example, SEC Director and TS-SCI Sales Engineer roles.

What Makes Us Better : AtlasAdvancement works with passive job seekers; people who are already employed and happy in their current position. These people are the pick of the employment market and can often be persuaded to make a move for a dream-job scenario. More than 90% of our candidates fall into this category, and whether its 6 months or two years from the date we first meet a candidate, when we get a job that matches their wants and needs, we tell them about it. If there's a match, it is a quick and easy process for both the client and the candidate.

The Close

AtlasAdvancement believes that the most important part of the search is the close. We make a commitment to the candidates and the clients.

The clients can count on us making sure we do not drag out a process unless the candidate is completely committed. From the initial interview we will make sure the client is made aware of any concerns that the candidates may have and help them address them. By acting as an unbiased third party we can make sure that the clients offer will not be turned down. Constant communication with the client and the candidate will allow us to come up with salaries that will be acceptable on both sides of the deal.

The Search

Armed with the information received on the client visit, the search begins. AtlasAdvancement goes about locating our candidates in various ways.

The first thing AtlasAdvancement does is search their network for active candidates that fit the role. Each member of AtlasAdvancements staff is required to bring in at least 10 new candidates per week. These are candidates that are not actively looking, but are keeping their sights open for the perfect job. Each candidate has been interviewed in person and has had up to four professional references completed regarding their career moves and ethics. The interview is broken up in two parts. The first part covers the candidate's background and career record. The second and most important part includes putting together a profile of each individuals' dream job. By collecting this information we can ensure that we are sending the right candidates to the right clients. If their profile looks like a good fit, but their interests lie elsewhere, we save the client and candidates the time of interviewing because it won't be a good long-term match.

The Job

AtlasAdvancement begins all searches with one thing in mind, successfully filling the position and ensuring client satisfaction. After the initial contact with the client AtlasAdvancement will set up a meeting with the decision maker to visit the client for a face-to-face meeting. Our goal is not only to find a candidate that is a good fit on paper, but the culture and other variables must be a fit as well. While meeting with clients we try to pinpoint the important information regarding the client that will make the most successful match. These criteria follow below:
