Aspire! is a career coaching business with a focus on mid career professionals, whether they be in career transtion or job search.

Randi Bussin, President and Founder transitioned into the careers industry after a successful stint in high tech sales and marketing management. While she loved the energy and innovation in high tech, she became much more interested and passionate about helping people achieve their personal goals and less about the next new gadget the industry was going to develop. In fact, while she was in high tech, she was coaching and mentoring others, before even becoming a coach.

After working with her own coach on her personal transition, she began to impart on a big change in her career—from high tech executive, to career counselor in higher education, to résumé writer, to career coach. Six years later, she will tell you, she has found her DREAM job and has discovered her niche.

Aspire works work mainly with two types of clients:

1. Managers and Executives in Job Search (35-40% of our business)
2. Power of Possibility Clients (aka Career Transition clients) (remainder of our business)

For the job search clients, they know where they want to go. They just don’t know how to get there, don’t know how to brand themselves and need coaching on a variety of job search topics such as interviewing, networking, career marketing documents, salary negotiations etc.

Power of Possibility Clients

Career change clients come to Aspire! because the passion and the “energy” for their current work has expired. They dread going to work, hate what they do and often are just going with the motions to collect a paycheck.

With these clients, the work and process is very different. Aspire! works with them for 3-6 months and they go through a comprehensive assessment phase to help them get clarity on their motivated skills, their interests, what they want to get out of their work, their career motivators and their primary behavioral and communication style. We help them brainstorm to see new possibilities and help them explore and make significant changes in their professional life.
