<p>Pharmaceutical Company is looking for a market researcher who will be working with the Marketing and Sales department. The Senior Manager is responsible for the formulation and projection of product and market valuations, modeling and analytic and contributing to the formulation and analysis of Marketing&rsquo;s strategic initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Executing financial forecasts</li>
<li>Developing and analyzing metrics for evaluating product and forecast performance.</li>
<li>Developing and analyzing in-line and internal development product forecasts.</li>
<li>Developing and analyzing forecasts of key therapeutic areas</li>
<li>Develop and maintain internal and external forecasting analogues database</li>
<li>Ensure that wholesaler inventory and managed care assumptions are developed and maintained for all forecasts</li>
<li>Continually improving the forecast process</li>
<li>Developing mathematical/statistical models and determining returns on investment for marketing</li>
<li>Analyzing and tracking potential profit contribution of products in various therapeutic categories.</li>
<li>Maintain and utilize forecasting system for generation and tracking of forecasts and for reporting to CEO.</li>
<li>Providing input on and possibly leading market research projects related to forecasting.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Formal training and professional experience in statistical analysis.</li>
<li>Financial skills to analyze and potentially execute P&amp;L and more.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal skills as well as strong Excel skills.</li>
<li>Ability to present and defend analyses.</li>
<li>Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Ability to clearly and methodically explain methodologies.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and service oriented skills.</li>
<li>An understanding of marketing strategy and a broad understanding of the overall health care environment, including but not limited to managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, PBMs, as well as the competitive landscape.</li>
<li>Ability to learn and use the available data sources for analyses (CARS, IMS, Verispan, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to learn market research techniques, interpret results, and perform analyses using the data.</li>
<li>Ability to work calmly under the political pressure surrounding forecasts.</li>
<li>Bachelors degree in Business, with an MBA preferred</li>
