Cosmetic surgeon at Marbella Clinic, Dr. Pierjean Albrecht pursued his initial medical education at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, and the University of Montpellier 1. Dr. Albrecht undertook postgraduate medical studies in Spain at the University of Salamanca, from which he graduated cum laude with his Ph.D. and M.D. in 2001. His doctoral thesis at the University of Salamanca, “Lasers in Cutaneous Surgery, Dermatology, and Plastic-Aesthetic Surgery,” analyzed 244 procedures. Returning to France that year to obtain postgraduate training at René Descartes University, Dr. Pierjean Albrecht continued to study the use of lasers in phlebology, or diseases of the veins, as well as plastic surgery and dermatology. He received a post-graduate title in Lasers from René Descartes University. Fluent in Spanish, English, and his native French, Dr. Pierjean Albrecht accepted an invitation from the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara to lecture as an Invited Professor on Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery with Lasers in the ENT Specialists Academic Program. While in Mexico, he received advanced training in rhinoplasty in association with Professor Armando Gonzalez-Romero of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. Dr. Albrecht is certified to testify in litigations by the Spanish Association of Expert Witnesses to the Court. Chief Plastic Surgeon and Manager of the Marbella Clinic on Spain’s Costa Del Sol, Dr. Pierjean Albrecht belongs to the Sociedad Española de Medicina Antienvejecimiento y Longevidad, the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons; and the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery. He has participated in more than 200 professional conferences in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. The holder of a Clinical Pharmacy patent, Dr. Pierjean Albrecht has published articles in Aesthetic Surgery Journal, the International Journal of Pharmaceutics, and the Journal de Pharmacie Clinique.
