Since coming to college, I have always wanted to work with a company that would provide the opportunity to not only facilitate growth, but also help to shape the culture in a way that fosters team work and allows employee input, at any level, to be recognized. However, through many internships, experiences, and conversations with colleagues, I was unable to find a company that allowed me to feel that I made a proper “fit.”

During my last semester at James Madison University, I learned about small technology startups and how the work environment was truly unique. The cofounder and CEO of VisualCV, Clint Heiden, who is also a JMU grad, happened to speak briefly to my class about his experiences.  I learned the company was looking for employees and saw it as a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Now I am part of a great team, offering a truly exceptional product that even I can relate to.

In my spare time, I enjoy riding personal watercraft (PWC), especially models manufactured by Sea-Doo. These machines provide an incredible on-the-water experience and can give almost anyone an exhilaration rush. I love keeping tabs on the watercraft industry at www.sea-doo.net.  The site’s message board allows users to relate to watercraft enthusiast; learn about modifying new craft, and generally what direction the industry may be headed.
