Respnsible for Global Pre-sales activities for SAP and leading a team of 4 Pre-sales consultants.

• Responsible for tracking, managing and reporting on the open RFPs and requirements.
• Oversee Proposal design and verify the contents as a Solution Architect.
• Wokring knowledge of latest SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, FSCM and IS-Utilities related modules.
• Responsible for costing of the projects and preparing commercial responses.
• Presenting SAP services and solutions portfolio for Systems Limited to various clients and maintaing industry relationships.
• Initiated and coordinated with SAP for the SAP Partnership process in UAE. Achieved SAP Partner status for Systems Limited & Techvista Systems in the UAE.

Heading a team of 45+ Consultants in the domain of SAP Supply Chain

• Resonsible for all team management related such as hiring, terminations, retentions.
• My KPIs here were:
  • Oversee a smooth delivery of the SAP SCM modules at various projects.
  • Retention of the team and effective fulfillment on local and international projects and well as resource outsourcing requirements.
  • Growth in team size while maintaining targets (effective billing and utilization percentages).
• During my tenure as the SCM SAP lead, we saw a growth of 450% in the team size.

DEWA is rated the best government IT department by the Dubai Government Excellent Program and has received the Sheikh Mohammed's Flag for best government initiative. DEWA is also rated best in the world for 'Getting Electricity' by World Bank's Doing Business 2020 report.  

I am Currently leading a team of SAP functional and technical consultants through the support and continuous improvement in the modules of Materials Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Management and Master Data Governance at DEWA. I am responsible for the execution of government initiatives and analyzing their impact on existing functionalities. 

 

Materials Management activities and achievements

• Lead the DEWA's Paperless Project for Supply Chain. DEWA was awarded as the first government department to achieve 100% paperless processes.
• Digital transformation of DEWA's SAP Procurement approvals through an internal mobile application using SAP Fiori standard and customized screens.
• Continous improvement of existing SAP solutions.
• Lead the S4 HANA HEC migration team for Supply Chain modules.
• Lead the Supply Chain (MM,WM,QM & MDG) authorization design and Integration with GRC system
• Lead the Integration of Materials Management module with SUP (Sybase Unwired Platform) to change the interface of SAP for higher management and allow approval and review of documents on iPad, iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices.
• Lead the MM and WM teams during the major upgrade from EHP6 to EHP8.

 

Recent Projects:

• SAP Master Data Governance - Material - Leading the in-house implementation team for SAP MDG system. Our implementation of MDG 9.0 system is the first in the region and is entirely being done in-house.
• KPI and Optimization Project - Lead the procurment teams and technical RPA resources for a KPI and procurement optimization project.
• SAP UI Logging & Masking - Implemented the new UI Logging and UI Masking tool that helps log screen level data for various users across and organization. My role in this project was to short-list the right product for the job and to carry out the licensing along with the configuration for Quality and Production systems. 
• Tejari system - Functional lead for integrating Tejari system (used by SMEs and other government entities) with DEWA’s SRM system.
• VAT Implementation - Lead the MM team during the recent VAT implementation. This change included testing and re-deploying all standard and customized enhancements across the MM specturm.
• IPad Application for Approvals (SUP) - Functional lead for the iPad approval application via the SUP platform. The higher management now only uses this application to approve any MM/SRM related documents in the system.
• Smart Application for DEWA – Functional lead for Smart government project which will integrate our SRM/MM processes with an iPad and iPhone application. This project was undertaken as per the initiative of Dubai Government.
• Warehouse Management - Enhancement of Warehouse Management configuration and functionalities. Restructuring DEWAs existing bin system and mapping it with the SAP system.
• Warehouse Inventory Bar-coding - Leading the on-going implementation of bar-coding solution for DEWA warehouse managed (WM) stores. A third-party is involved to carry out the development and the configuration of the equipment. My role is to carry out the relevant MM/WM configuration in the system as well as providing consultancy services to the management.

I have worked as a Managing Consultant for SAP R/3 Solutions at IBM Pakistan. My Job role consisted of implementing of projects related to Materials Management and Warehouse Management. I have also completed 1 lifecycle in Plant Maintenance module at this company. I have been deputed on the following projects.
