I am the Coordinator of the Saginaw Valley State University Student Technology Center (STC), which includes three small labs dedicated to assisting SVSU students with technology related projects. The STC contains 11 profile pcs and 6 iMacs. The STC also includes two separate labs: An open lab containing 11 pcs, and the Communication Digital Media Graduate lab containing 6 iMacs configured with the Adobe CS4 Design Premium suite and Final Cut Pro. Outside of the STC, I am an Instructor at Davenport University for the School of Technology and at Saginaw Valley State University in the Communication Digital Media and Computer Science departments. I teach a variety of computer and design courses, including Visual Criticism, Web Design/Applications, Advanced Flash, Java/C/C++ Programming, Intro to UNIX, Microcomputer Applications, and Using the Internet.
I finished my Master of Arts at Saginaw Valley State University in Communication and Multimedia in August of 2004. I completed a Bachelor of Applied Arts with a double major in Interpersonal and Public Communication and German from Central Michigan University in May of 1997. In 1990, I spent one semester studying abroad in Bielefeld, Germany. This was the greatest opportunity. If you get the chance to travel during your studies or anytime, I highly recommend it.
