• Designed a Performance Management Framework for a large multinational IT Organization

• Evangelized TTS in a series of public seminar events to multiple CxOs, highlighting the business and financial benefits of the practice offering

The New Services Capability is a dynamic new group within the organisation, which focuses on innovations in IT Infrastructure outsourcing offerings globally.

Responsibilities:

• Innovate and develop new service offerings as potential candidates for IT outsourcing
• Analyze and improve existing outsourcing processes for better optimization
• Develop new cost models to ensure continued business value to customer projects

Achievements:

• Analyzed the existing cost recovery structure for the outsourcing organization, improving the cost recovery by 36%
• Managed and coordinated the development of a comprehensive organization-wide tool for managing service delivery, thus improving operational efficiency and commercial inclusion
• Developed Managed Hosting as a value-added service offering

The Global Consulting Practice is a core group within the organisation, which focuses primarily on IT consulting opportunities globally.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers on IT Infrastructure services to maximize business value

• Understand customer technical and business requirements
• Conceptualise and design end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions
• Continuously research new technologies and solutions for Enterprise ICT deployments
• Liason with technical partners and technology vendors to analyse integration possibilities with other technologies

• Defined possible Business Models for maximizing returns from IT adoption for a large Construction Conglomerate
• Designed and formulated an IT Infrastructure Transformation Roadmap for a large Shipping Corporation.

Project: Wireless Technology Group – WLAN implementation

Led a team of networking professionals deploying 802.11x wireless infrastructure solutions for corporate, public utility and hospitality sectors

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customer stakeholders and understand customer technical requirements
• Conduct RF site surveys to understand feasibility of Wireless LAN deployment

Project: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation IT Implementation

Functioned as Project On-site coordinator and Network Infrastructure Architect for the State Road Transport Corporation of Gujarat, for their Rs. 25 crore IT System Integration project.The project encompasses the computerization of the Transport Corporation from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate an Information System / Information Technology Plan for the GSRTC
• Act as the single point of contact between the Specialist teams and the GSRTC Officials
• Coordinate interactions between GSRTC officials and various specialist teams
• Interact with specialist teams to understand and chart project implementation progress
• Manage resources and allocations to the various specialists groups

Project: TILNET Operations

Part of a team handling the operation of TILNET: the internal worldwide WAN network of Tata Infotech Limited.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure uptime of the global WAN links across offices
• Check health of the email servers and mail gateways and carry out basic administrative procedures.
• Provide in-house networking related consulting to various projects within the organisation
• Successfully implemented a Voice over IP [VoIP] communication solution for the Company spanning 27 locations all over the globe

• Successfully maintained a collision-free and maximum availability internal network environment
• Efficiently migrated the internal network to a single-server authentication Windows architecture to improve security and accountability of dat
• Single-handedly administered the corporate websites and portals to guarantee 24x7 opertions
• Researched the design a nationwide 2nd generation Internet Data Centre
