PROJECT: cubeFlex
May 2008 – present
Implement Oracle EPM software stack for upcoming product release of cubeFlex, a hosted infrastructure for Business Intelligence in the cloud. This is being implemented on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Elastic Computing (EC2).

PROJECT: Market Risk Reporting System (MARRS)
MaRRS is the risk reporting system for the Investment Banking division. The primary goal for this project was to provide flexible ad-hoc and standardized reporting for Value at Risk (VaR). This sophisticated calculation and variations thereof uses position level P&L vectors for the past 252 days. This allows the firm manage risk by accurately predicting the maximum possible losses for the following trading day.

Responsibilities:

• Designed a robust, scalable, structured, efficient cube delivery platform which gets the feeds from different source systems (LOB's) into the data mart
• Designed customize framework for adding additional LOB’s cubes. All the code is reusable.
• Sophisticated process that built two cubes one daily snapshot and one comparison that restructured the data with current day hierarchies
• Table driven data staging for loads (reduced load time to 5 mins for 1 day data)
• Sophisticated process that built two cubes one daily snapshot and one comparison that restructured the data with current day hierarchies
• A reduction of the cube build time from 1hr+ to 5mins
• Developed a automated customized query materialization which reduced the retrieve time from 5 min+ to 10-8 secs.
• Developed a various MDX queries based on common user queries for query materialization.
• Designed outline query hint for Materialization.
• Developed a Reference cube to the daily snapshot cube in order to report based on old hierarchies with the current data. Made use of reference cube concept to improve the performance. 
• Created wrapper shell scripts (parameter driven) to automate the process.
• Implemented robust data-access security and user management
• Package the cube and re-create them from a particular day (needed for As-of-day hierarchy), this whole process takes less than 10min’s.

• Developed a customized Essbase cascade function using Excel VBA and Essbase VB API to pick a group of members and generate reports automatically.
• Design and developed a global security sweep system between peoplesoft and essbase global application of Credit-Sussie.

Hewlett-Packard is a technology company that provides wide range of solutions in Imaging, Printing and enterprise servers, was involved in design, develop and supporting various applications of Imaging and Printing group department.

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Developing, maintaining and supporting IPG suite of Finance applications for EMEA region. The entire suite consists of 14 applications each having a unique objective viz., Shipments, Expenses, Discounts, Marketing, and Headcount etc.
• Monitoring and resolving various applications on production environment and taking proactive measures to maintain the application health
• Involved in planning the support activities to provide better quality of support.
• Developed data load rule files to load data based on ad-hoc user requirements
• Provided technical solution within the team and also created automated jobs which reduced manual monitoring of production jobs on daily basis
