  • Elected to the Board of Directors in 2003 and served as 2007 Chairman of the Tipp City Area Chamber of Commerce functioning as the legislative head of the Chamber and presiding over all Chamber and Executive Board meetings.

    As presiding officer of the Chamber I drove financial clarity and accountability for the organization as well as designed a new membership fee schedule that supported operational excellence. I signed all formal documents and proclaimations.
    One of my personal achievements was to create a standard set of committees as well as an accoutability/governance team with which to regulate and guide activities of each committee. I sought out new ways to deliver value for Chamber members and ensure legislative awareness of our local officials through the production of "Meet the Candidate" events.
    The highlight of my tenure as Chairman was a visit by President George W. Bush to speak with Chamber of Commerce members about the volatility of the Iraq conflict.

    When I was challenged with the delivery of an enterprise solution that would eliminate the costly and unmanaged heterogeneous technology environment in the 30 data centers in the Americas, I acted as Solution Architect for a Network and Server mesh design that would eventually provided the basis for EDS’ grid computing
    Provided $4.3 million in technology support savings in one year and laid the technology groundwork to centrally monitor and maintain a “world” of technology assets.
