Majored in UND's Entrepreneurship program (ranked among the top 10 Entrepreneurship programs in the United States) to develop skills in opportunity recognition and value creation, as well as to further ignite the creative mind to operate in the realm of business and innovation. The education also focused largely on venture finance, and private equity operations from both sides of the investment table.
Also majored in UND's Marketing program to develop salesmanship capabilities and gain a deeper understanding of the real-world interactions between businesses, consumers and market forces.
Received a degree from the Honors Program at UND through additional credit from the Colleges of Engineering, Technology, Business, and Fine Arts. The culmination of this degree came in the form of a Senior Honors Thesis, entitled "The Creation Feasibility and Commercialization Potential for a First-Of-Its-Kind Material in the Sports Protection Industry". This thesis involved research findings from my own start-up company, related to a new technology application that the research anticipates will revolutionize high impact sports.
