Creative Content/Writer/Editor/Marketer with a spicy blend of experience and education. Journalism major with a minor in English from University of Nebraska.
My ultimate goal is to work with a company that I have a genuine passion for. I have made great strides towards that goal with my position at Apple. My new goal is to work for them full-time and transition to a position at corporate.
Real world experience includes:
- 10+ years in radio as an on-air personality, a copywriter for commercials, producer for bits and station imaging and offering assistance conceptualizing promotions and events.
- 3+ years in print media as an account executive, promoter and writer for Omaha's premier alternative newsweekly, The Reader and affiliated publications.
- 2+ years experience as copywriter, marketing consultant, conceptual art/layout concept lead for a "top 50" independent broker/dealer, QA3.
- Marketing consultation for small businesses across a broad range of industries for over 10 years.
Skills include: the ability to generate a plethora of creative concepts; snappy, concise copy that is as entertaining and easy to read as it is informative; proficiency with most major office software; grace under pressure; quick learning curve; and creative ideas ranging from the basic to the interstellar mind-blowing and/or game-changing.
