Objective

I am looking for a position that will allow me to continue to cover national politics as I have been at CNN since July 2007.  I am especially interested in covering Capitol Hill and/or the White House.  I would like to focus on reporting and writing but I also have the necessary skills to be a package producer or show producer for television as well as a blog, podcast, and online video producer for an online or multimedia outlet.

Summary

Recent graduate of Columbia Journalism School with legal background. J.D. from Harvard Law School. Two federal court clerkships (one trial and one appellate). Experience litigating various types of civil cases in federal court and arguing cases in federal appeals court.  Made recent career transition to journalism and currently focused on covering politics in online/multimedia and traditional news production environments.  Interested in print, television (on-air and production), and online journalism.
