Summary

Leveraging his organizational and leadership skills gained in executive positions in the health care industry over the course of more than 20 years, Mark Hilgart joined Quest Management Solutions in 2010. Serving as Partner and National Accounts Manager, he identifies ways to reduce facility costs on janitorial services, supplies, waste removal, and other items. Managing local and national accounts, Mark Hilgart provides services to all types of commercial businesses, including apartment and condominium complexes, strip malls, property management concerns, restaurants, and medical facilities. Quest holds a membership in Wisconsin Restaurant Association, which includes more than 7,000 restaurants.

Mark Hilgart and Quest Management Solutions have established relationships with hundreds of vendors, enabling them to purchase supplies and services in volume, thereby passing on the lower costs to clients. Once the company reviews such items as vendor selection, pricing, units of measure, and frequency of service, Quest places the potential client’s services and supplies out to bid, negotiates costs, and provides the facility with a summary and recommendations. Mark Hilgart ensures the process remains transparent, removing the mystery behind facility services contracting.

For those businesses with time remaining on existing contracts, Mark Hilgart and his staff review the contracts and enter the information into the Quest database. The firm monitors renewal dates and notifies the company at least 30 days before the agreement expires to see if the client would like Quest to pursue better pricing, at no cost for the service. Mark Hilgart also points out an additional advantage of hiring Quest: the staff works with clients to improve their recycling programs and reworks route inefficiencies for waste removal to reduce pollution.

A certified youth sports coach with experience in girls’ select basketball, flag football, and select baseball, Mark Hilgart also supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee as one of its top fundraisers for several years running. An academic all-state wrestler in high school and four-year wrestler in college, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Fitness at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Mark Hilgart also completed a Master of Business Administration at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
