Lucy Gray brings eighteen years of experience and a passion for excellence to any endeavor. Known for
her work ethic and professional generosity, she views technology and new media as essentials in facilitating educational and societal change. Lucy currently is seeking opportunities for long term employment in the field of education, particularly in a culture where creativity, collaboration, and innovation are paramount.
Currently, Lucy is an independent education consultant with a focus on initiatives and projects related to 21st century teaching and learning. Clients include TigerLogic, the parent company of the yolink search technology and several other corporate and non-profit groups. She is also the founder of the Global Education Collaborative, a social network for educators, and most recently, served as the conference co-chair for the Global Education Conference, an innovative online conference with 400 plus sessions and attended by over 15,000 participants.
Lucy is a seasoned conference and workshop presenter with professional interests in the areas of 21st century skills, social media in education, and global education. She has appeared at Macworld, the International Society for Technology in Education conference, and several state-level educational technology association conferences. She also has developed curriculum materials as an independent contractor for both Apple Inc. and Google Inc.
She often covers topics related to educational technology in her posts to the Infinite Thinking Machine, a group weblog sponsored by WestEd and Google, and to the Edu 2.0 section of the O'Reilly Radar blog. In recent years, she has been appointed an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified Teacher.

Served as the Lead Technology Integration Coach for a set of charter schools operated by the University of Chicago. Responsible for developing and implementing a professional development program for faculty and school leaders across four campuses and a network of new charters supported by UEI.
Taught workshops and undergraduate and graduate level courses in classroom technology integration techniques. Workshop themes included on digital storytelling, podcasting, and Web 2.0 technologies.
Developed curriculum for education initiatives sponsored by Google. Assisted with planning and facilitating the Chicago Google Teacher Academy at which 50 educators from across the country were trained to use various Google tools. Continues to present at subsequent Google Teacher Academies as a Lead Learner.
Designed Web 2.0 workshop for Apple Professional Development that was implemented by trainers throughout the United States. Traveled to Singapore to help run the 2008 Asia Apple Distinguished Educator Institute.
Responsible for conducting computer science instruction, designing curriculum, and providing professional development support. Developed activities for encouraging technology integration throughout the schools, including sponsoring an after school computer club and a technology showcase at a local Apple retail store.
