Evolution from Business analyst to Spanish product manager at Aquagest SERvices COmpany (ASERCO) of Agbar Group performing different tasks such as defining the Billing System internationally commercialized, managing (resources and economically) J2EE projects, making proposals and realising requirements gathering and functional analysis.

Spanish product manager at ASERCO managing the AquaCIS CF (Agbar Group billing system) Spanish deploy (on Agbar and other sector companies -ASP [1] variety-) and different groups witch are involved roll-out and/or system operating; as well as its interaction with other Suite AquaCIS products. In addition, being the project manager of the most important projects related to the version deployed in Spain: Corrective Maintenance, Adaptive Maintenance and Structural Improvements (a perfective and preventive maintenance in order to improve time and resources performance and which is being executed in different phases-projects), as well as, being the project manager of satellites projects related to the Spanish AquaCIS CF system operating and/or roll-out (AquaCIS CF bolsa de peticiones). The amount of people in charge has been between 11 and 20, without not own groups coordination. Both operative and development platform is composed by WebSphere, Swing, DB2 and Oracle.

Acting Department head at ASERCO designing the AquaCIS CF product (Agbar Group billing system), as well as its interaction with other Suite AquaCIS products. Supervising different AquaCIS CF deploys at Bristol (United Kingdom) and Oran (Algeria) and its adaptation at Chile. Managing personally the Spanish deploy of AquaCIS CF (for Agbar and other sector companies -ASP [1] variety-) and different groups witch are involved roll-out and/or system operating. Project Manager at SBD Consultors I&D Software, S.L. (afterwards ALTEN TIC) managing, designing, developing, documenting and deploying different projects within a J2EE environment.

Project Manager within Col•legi Oficial de Farmacèutics de Barcelona (COFB) within Intranet-Extranet  Maintenance Phase project which is a J2EE application which contains COFB backoffice and external and internal frontoffice. Both operative and development platform is composed by JBOSS and MySQL 5. The managed team size is three people (including me).

Analyst/Developer at GTD, Ingeniería de sistemas y de software, S.A, (afterwards GTD Sistemas de Información) designing, developing and documenting different J2EE and J2SE projects within a distributed environment. I had a Developer role at a Defence Department project called MyC, however, my following projects has been as an Analyst/Developer for Knowledge Technologies Department, such as: EPMT, Intelmon / CESADS, KES and GMES, where reasoning techniques (fuzzy logic, for instance) and knowledge representation (ontologies) has been applied.

Analyst/Developer within GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) project which is a framework project which holds for: KEO, WIN, MARCOAST and STREAM. All of them are based on semantic web, use web services as platform and/or have spatial information as a domain.

Analyst/Developer within KES (Knowledge Enabled Services) project which is an application J2EE (Java Web Services, Java Portlets) developed to ESRIN (European Space Research INstitute) based on web services which offers production services and allows textual and spatial search. Production subsystem (Collaxa BPEL Server) processes the images sent by the satellites in order to populate a GIS database which is used for spatial search. This data is logged in a MySQL in order to be able to execute the textual search upon the products which are offered in KEO portal.

Analyst/Developer within Intelmon / CESADS (Intelligent monitoring / Centralised ESTRACK Status and Diagnostic System) project which is a client-server application developed to ESOC (European Space Operations Centre) and implemented in J2SE (RMI, JDBC and Fuzzy Jess) and Protégé which runs on MS SQL Server. This application allows to monitor the ESTRACK (European Space Tracking (Network)) and to diagnose errors on it using fuzzy logic, to obtain different kinds of reports, to modify the knowledge base (KB) of the chosen project and to stop/start/create/eliminate any project. Nowadays, the only running project of ESOC which use this application is EnviSat (Environmental Satellite).

Analyst/Developer within EPMT (Electric Ion Propulsion Monitoring Tool) project which is an application to ESOC, developed in J2SE (JDBC, Fuzzy Jess and JClass), Protégé and Matlab, which runs on MS SQL Server. EPMT allows to the operators the identification and diagnosis of errors in SMART-1 (Small Mission for Advanced Research in Technology – 1) satellite because, thanks to the use of fuzzy logic on the received data from the satellite (obtained by the Dynamic Data System of ESOC) and on others as Ace Space Weather released on Internet, it infers whether there are errors or not and how important they are. The operators can obtain graphic reports of the errors inferred and can modify easily the fuzzy logic inference processes of EPMT in order to refine the severity of the alarms generated by it.

Developer within MyC (Monitorización y Control) project which is a client-server application which monitors and controls devices was developed to Ministerio de Defensa Español in J2SE (RMI and JDBC) and runs on MS SQL Server.

Developer to Synera Systems 3GEngine Department developing different projects in J2SE, J2EE, Internet environment: mPack and Web View.

Web View is implemented in J2EE (JSPs). It is the Web client of the synera version 4.0.

mPack is implemented in J2SE and it is a business intelligence solution for the mobile operators which allows to them and to the mobile Internet service suppliers, analyze and integrate the received information through the WAP Gateway, web servers, and other information sources (through the XML, ASN1, text, and so on logs) making easier the decisional process. Therefore, mPack use synera, and integrated suite which holds an analytic data base management system with data mining processes.

Webmaster and System Administrator at Departament d’Enginyeria Química of UPC carrying out administration tasks on PC’s network and developing the new web site of the department implemented in HTML, JavaScript and DHTML.
