Insurance executive Keith Smaldon maintains a diverse and well-rounded lifestyle through a wide range of professional associations, charitable activities, and personal interests. A member of the Maine Real Estate and Developers Association (MEREDA), Keith Smaldon supports responsible and holistic development through regulatory oversight, legislative advocacy, and much more. Keith Smaldon has also held memberships with the CEO Club of Boston, the Treasurers’ Club of Boston, and the New England Alliance of the ACHCA. Devoting his time, energy, and resources to a variety of humanitarian organizations, Keith Smaldon functions as a valued member of the community. A past member of both the Maine Hospital Association and the Massachusetts Hospital Association, Keith Smaldon currently serves impoverished and homeless individuals through his affiliation with the Preble Street Resource Center in Portland, Maine. At the Preble Street Resource Center, Keith Smaldon provides necessary assistance to the organization’s shelters, food pantries, soup kitchens, and assorted social work services. In addition, Keith Smaldon has volunteered at the Boston-based Pine Street Inn for the homeless and United Way. Currently a memeber of the British Charitable Association of North America Keith Smaldon also served on various committees of the British American Business Club of New England headquatered in Boston. A longtime patron of the arts, Keith Smaldon has contributed to the Portland Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston. An animal lover as well, Keith Smaldon helps the Morris Animal Foundation in its efforts to treat, cure, and protect numerous domesticated and wild species from disease. In his free time, Keith Smaldon enjoys running, biking, and tennis and reads whenever possible. Keith Smaldon counts David McCullough, Joseph O’Neill, Pete Hamill, E.B. White, and several others among his favorite authors. Born in England, Keith Smaldon maintains strong ties to his roots through the British-American Association. Now residing in New Gloucester, Maine, Keith Smaldon travels when he has the opportunity and has visited Latin America, the Middle East, the Asia Pacific region, and various parts of continental Europe. Keith Smaldon has offices in Portland, Maine, and Woburn, Massachusetts. Currently a member of the British Charitable Association of North America, Keith Smaldon also served on various committees of the British American Business Club of New England headquartered in Boston.
