I founded Career Enlightenment with the mission of helping job seekers get back to work through the strategic use of social media. I found that there was a lot of confusion about these tools and that by helping people improve their online presence just a little bit,they were able to stand out from the crowd.

Since inception, my blog has become internationally syndicated, I've been a resource for the Wall Street Journal and I have trained thousands of job seekers.

My upcoming book, "The New Connected Career" take the job seeker through a step-by-step process of developing a personal brand, polishing off their online presence and using tools to find hiring managers.

for the Higher Education and Local Government markets. Lead a team of engineers in a sales effort that brought Cisco's products back into consideration by upper management at OHSU by researching new and innovative applications in the Hospital Environment.

for both Phoenix based and Las Vegas based large enterprises carrying annual goal of $4.5m, top three for quota retirement on a team of eight. Number two in the team for selling Unified Communications based on successful strategic planning and market segmentation.

Took leadership in leading several classes. Leveraged business research, market analysis and strategic business planning to secure the enterprise level job upon graduation.

Covering university and government subscription renewals. Met 103% of renewals goal in 2004 by analyzing the customer’s business process and aligning our internal resources. Leveraged internal business analytics to prioritize customer base and streamlined sales effectiveness.  

Helped transform business from simple transactions into solution selling paradigm. Wrote and designed new branding material and collateral. Designed and rolled out marketing campaigns targeting specific vertical markets which grew accounts by 82% in one year with key customers including GTZ, Chittwan National Reserve and the US Government. Became the top performing sales professional for solution-selling in urban markets for Nepal’s largest renewable energy company including photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind and mini-hydro technologies. 

Consulted for Japanese import company, recommended new product mix to target shifts in market demand, increasing revenues by 10%.
