Contracted to direct and manage StreetWise’s technology team to create and maintain community web properties for THQ and CAPCOM.
As a director of information systems at Frontier I am responsible for the continued development and deployment of the student information, learning management, content management and other information systems that are necessary for day to day operations at the university. Prior to serving as the Director of Information Systems I served as the Interim Director of the Technology Team managing 6 employees and several 3rd party vendors in addition to performing the responsibilities mentioned above.
· Produce custom web applications to extend or provide features that are critical for the institutions niche requirements that did not exist within the Enterprise Student Information and Learning Management systems.
· Implemented enterprise student information and learning management systems migrating from legacy applications.
· Regularly participate in meetings and on committees critical to the organization including Marketing, Retention and Instructional Design in addition to those directly related to my position.
· Converted Frontier School assessments from pen and paper to 100% online examinations within a 1 year period providing substantial cost savings.
As a web producer for NBC/Universal I utilized a combination of PHP, JavaScript, XML, Dynamic HTML and Adobe Photoshop to produce and update websites for the Bravo Channel.
While contracting for Disney's Internet Group I was assigned two high profile assignments. I was given responsibility for creating several key sections of the Disneyland.com website in their redesign project. I was then tasked to work on Walt Disney Worlds International Website which composed of over 2,400 pages and included 3 language variants.
Primarily responsible for developing, coding and modifying high volume new/pre-existing e-commerce websites for Macro Communications. Principal technologies utilized were ASP, SQL Server and CFML. Secondary responsibilities included management and administration of all databases, e-mail, FTP and web servers.
Operated IT consulting business. Provided a wide range of hardware, software, networking, application development and internet website services to clients in order to meet their corporate goals.
Managed all MIS activities involving Y Media Corporation. Primary duties involved database/network programming and administration.
Led re-development of GameMax’s e-commerce department.
