Mr. Jonathan Aghravi is currently Senior Director of Eastern Consolidated’s Capital Advisory Division in New York City. Mr. Aghravi attended Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. While there, he excelled in academics, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies in 2006. Mr. Aghravi earned membership in Pi Sigma Alpha, an honor society for political science students, as well as the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence on three occasions.
A licensed real estate agent in New York, Mr. Aghravi remains active in the professional world with membership in organizations such as the Real Estate Lenders Association, Inc., the Real Estate Board of New York, and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Outside his professional affiliations, Jonathan Aghravi is active in a number of community service programs, a commitment stretching back to his college days. During his tenure at Colgate University, Mr. Aghravi spearheaded a program called Sidekicks, which partnered youths in the community with student mentors at the University to help guide them toward a positive, productive lifestyle. As the founder of a Women’s International Zionist Organization teen chapter, Mr. Aghravi organized and planned many charity events, raising thousands of dollars each year for the organization, as well as coordinating community service activities. Today, Jonathan Aghravi supports Fieldston Summer Sports Program, promoting athletics for students attending the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in Riverdale, New York. He remains involved with the American Society for Yad Vashem and the Cooke Center for Learning and Development.
Jonathan Aghravi contributes to a vast number of foundations and charities, including the Sarcoma Foundation of America, an advocacy group that promotes research and care in the fight against sarcoma, and the Stefan Adelipour for Life Foundation, which donates to orphanages, hospitals, and schools. Mr. Aghravi also gives to Love Heals: the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education, which dedicates itself to building HIV/AIDS awareness in the youth communities of New York City.
Mr. Aghravi resides in New York City. In his free time, he enjoys sports and travel. He speaks both Hebrew and Farsi, and is conversational in Spanish.
